Dommett concurred, and he did not realize that the catfisher was secretly videotaping this conversation without either person’s knowledge or permission. In addition, he did not know that the woman he saw on the screen was not the person he was speaking with because the catfisher used a program to edit both the video and the audio.

This is how it felt like for Dommett who never heard from this catfisher until two years later and received a Twitter message from ‘CelebrityBusted’ saying they had nude photos of him and were threatening to make it public if he did not buy out. Dommett chose not to hear the message but a few weeks later the footage had become an internet sensation.
The scenario was very unfortunate for Dommett, especially when he had just agreed to be in the show I’m A Celebrity. The popular reality show, named “Get Me Out of Here!”. This scared him because he perceived this controversy as being a potential danger that could destroy his career and dignity.

Early Life and Education
Joell Dommett is a standup comedian who was born on 8th June 1985 in Rockhampton, Gloucestershire. He was a student at The Castle School in Thornbury and began learning about performance while still young.
In addition, he made up the lineup for a nu-metal band that went by the name Psirus and played in five concerts. By the age of 19, he would move to London for his career in comedy and acting.
Career
He began his career as an actor appearing in programs such as Casualty, Skins, The Golden Hour, and Teenage Kinks. He became more famous on TV in terms of comedy and reality shows. Made in Chelsea was followed by Live in Chelsea which he hosted between 2011 and 2012. He also appeared in the first two series of Impractical Jokers UK – a hidden camera prank show – between 2012 and 2014.
He was also one of the team captains on Reality Bites, a comedy panel show, and a regular panelist on Bring the Noise, a music-themed panel show in 2015. He also featured in the celebrity version of The Chase which is another quiz show.
In 2016, Dommett participated in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! which is a reality television series set in Australia that he did not win as runner-up. He then went on to present the spin-off show I’m a Celebrity: Former Housemates and Extras Camp from 2017-2019.
