Footage supposedly depicting the death of a Russian mercenary called Yevgeny Nuzhin was spread online in February of 2023.
The Hammer of Revenge starts with Nuzhin taped to a wall, blindfolded over his face as an unidentified attacker beats him up with a sledgehammer. The integrity of this appalling video is questionable, and it only adds another level of anxiety to an already horrifying story.

Nowadays, there are some extremely shocking videos that supposedly have captured how men were illegally killed during battles between Russia and Ukraine. Widespread graphic recordings from the web give a creepy view of the crude and violent sides which are going on within the conflict. In April 2022, a video was posted on telegram which showed a disturbing picture of a Russian citizen, who had been dressed in green uniform plus a yellow band that has always been used by Ukrainians to mark their troops. At that moment, three other men wearing white armbands were surrounding him.
This footage shows a man in yellow armbands, believed to be a Ukrainian soldier, cutting off another man’s head who wore green. During the bloody deeds, people yelled “Glory to Ukraine!” as the climax of that very frightening situation.
The video was verified by reliable sources including the New York Times and the BBC. Furthermore, it was geolocated to a road near Dmytrivka, located west of Kyiv, which is the scene of a fierce fight between the Ukrainian and Russian troops.
Within minutes, he (Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky) denounced it and promised an inquiry. As for NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, he stressed that all violations with no exception of war laws and crimes would definitely be considered as wrongdoings.

The picture shows Nuzhin supposedly tied to a wall with a sack over his face, alleged to belong to the Wagner group – one of the most notorious PMCs connected with the Kremlin.
A man beat him with a hammer again and again! This was revenge for Nuzhin’s participation in another video he made about torturing and murdering a Ukrainian prisoner. This is an unconfirmed clip of where the authentic occurrence took place as its reliability is not ascertainable by anyone.

3. End of a Tragedy for a Russian Soldier who went AWOL
The Moscow Times also revealed details of another video that portrayed the sad ending of Russian officer Alexander Kuznetsov in December 2022.
Despite their reluctance to do so, a number of Russians including Sergey Kuznetsov deserted their units in Ukraine and left morally-induced video messages on their social media accounts explaining why they refused to take part in this “genocide” against their former friends and combat.
Providing accounts of such brutality perpetrated by Russian soldiers like the killing of innocent citizens and prisoners of war, Kuznetsov sought refuge in one of the European countries.
Nonetheless, as predicted, there was no response to this appeal, and subsequently, a gunshot to his head brought a close to this turbulent experience in a small Belarusian forest near the borders with Ukraine.It was called a suicidal act by the Russian Defense Ministry but some different media claimed it could be a hit squad attack.
